With over 25 years’ experience in broadcast television and film, I began my career working through every role in the camera department before moving into shooting. For the past decade I’ve specialised in documentaries, arts, sport, and authored factual work, filming across the UK and in more than 30 countries for broadcasters including BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5, Netflix, MBC and many independent producers. I’m experienced in fastpaced, challenging environments where time is tight, conditions are tough, and sensitivity is essential.
 

In recent years I’ve returned to narrative work as an operator and 2nd unit DoP, comfortable collaborating with main units to match style or working independently when needed. My approach is rooted in naturalistic, handheld storytelling, complemented by experience with gimbal technology (MoVI Pro, Ronin 4D). Beginning with film and now working across all high-end digital formats (Alexa, Sony Venice, FX9, F55, FX6), I focus on using the right tools to tell stories with authenticity and creativity, whatever the budget or schedule.
